Terms of Service

The key terms that govern how you work with Harrison James Ltd for accounting and advisory services.

Engagement

  • These terms apply when you engage us to provide accounting, advisory, or compliance services.
  • The scope of work, deliverables, and fees will be confirmed in writing before we begin.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete information in a timely manner so we can meet agreed deadlines.
  • Review deliverables promptly and let us know about any issues or changes required.

Our responsibilities

  • Deliver services with reasonable care and skill in line with professional standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of your information except where disclosure is required by law or you provide consent.
  • Notify you of any circumstances that could impact timelines or deliverables as soon as reasonably possible.

Fees and payment

  • Fees will be agreed in advance. Invoices are payable according to the terms stated on the invoice.
  • Late payments may result in paused work until accounts are settled.

Limitation of liability

  • We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service that gave rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

Ending the engagement

  • Either party may end the engagement with reasonable written notice. Some services may have notice periods, which will be confirmed in your engagement letter.
  • If the engagement ends, fees remain payable for work completed up to the termination date.
